40 years ago Alan hosted The 4IP Ultimate Sickie, which won the Best Radio Promotion of The Year in 1980.
He got 400 listeners to bring a note from their boss, allowing them to take the “Ultimate Sickie”, a trip around Queensland on a Qantas 747, who has been a McGirvanmedia client for over 30 years.
